Anthem SOCA MEWA and Ohio Farm Bureau MEWA to File 1094/1095 Data Electronically

Based on popular broker request, For the 2024 tax filing year, Anthem will prepare the 1094B and 1095B forms as they have in the past and post to the employer’s portal in Employer Access.  Additionally, the SOCA Benefit Plan as well as the Ohio Farm Bureau Health Benefits Plan in conjunction with their plan manager Consoliplex, will also file these documents electronically with the IRS by March 31, 2025.  This service CANNOT be opted out of.  The flyers for each MEWA identifying the new processes are attached for your reference and a broker article will be published in Broker News shortly.
