New Product Announcement – Needlestick Insurance

We are pleased to announce a new product designed by Petersen International Underwriters called Needlestick Insurance has hit the employee benefits market. This group benefits plan offers up to $100,000 in a cash lump sum to help compensate healthcare workers, emergency service workers, and first responders who have been injured by a needlestick occurrence and have contracted a bloodborne pathogen (Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV).  The purpose of the insurance is to help cover costs associated with testing, treatment and other expenses that may arise as a result of a needlestick injury, such as lost wages and travel expenses.
