Anthem Small Group Census Underwriting Now Available!

Anthem of Ohio is excited to announce that as of March 1, 2025, you can obtain a pre-screened, final quote without medical questionnaires for small groups with 10 or more enrolled subscribers*.

• Census Underwriting is available for SOCA MEWA and Ohio Farm Bureau MEWA
• Minimum of 10 enrolled required
• Prescreen submissions are still submitted on the Producer Toolbox at Anthem.com – no change

Since this is a new process for us, your input if very important to us.  We will be following up with you to learn how our rates compare with this new underwriting tool.

*Please note that accurate census data is imperative for a quote to be considered final, and that there could be instances when underwriting is unable to provide a quote based on census alone and MHQ’s may be requested.
