Securian: SecureCare III to Offer Online UW Questionnaire

Effective August 26, when you use eApp with SecureCare III, clients will be able to complete the underwriting questionnaire (part 2 of the application) online and on their own time. No more waiting to schedule a lengthy tele-interview — the application now has the potential to be completed, signed and submitted within one day.1

Here’s what you can expect from this enhanced process:

  • Enhanced client convenience — application can be completed any time
  • Faster underwriting process — eliminates lengthy tele-interview1
  • Tailored application experience — only relevant questions asked

Important things to note:

  • Client must have valid email address and cell phone number to be eligible to complete part 2 of the application online.
  • This is available for new applications only. SecureCare III applications submitted via eApp before August 26, 2024 will not be eligible to complete part 2 of the application online.
  • Completing part 2 of the application online is not available for SecureCare UL at this time.

1 The cognitive assessment, if required, will still be completed by phone. The client will be contacted to schedule their cognitive assessment once the application has been received by underwriting in good order.
